KontrolFreek FPS Freek Galaxy Thumb Grips Feature Unbox

Hello everyone and welcome to our unboxing of the KontrolFreek FPS Galaxy thumb grips. These are essentially thumb grips that will help improve your control for aims on analog sticks on controllers. I mean, since you’re essentially limited with movement and precision in controllers, you’ll probably want to get all the help you can get.

Coming in hot, these thumb grips are quite simple in packaging. It’s a simple cardboard sheet with the thumb grips themselves inside a plastic case with a cutout on the right portion to give you a feel on its texture.

At the back are basic information regarding the item such as an overview of the product including features and specifications. The two thumb stick grips are comprised of one mid-rise for the left and one high-rise for the right. Each has its own use case of course. Beside it is a sample photo of the product with a DualSense. Also noted below is that it’s compatible with all PS5 and PS4 controllers, so you’re still covered if you’re using a DualShock 4 or something similar. Further below you’ll see the previous overview above in different languages.

As you can see, this ain't a DualShock 4 controller. But it does fit my Lucky Fox gamepad. 

So, on to the grips themselves. These are basically extenders to give you more arc with the thumb sticks. The left mid-rise thumb grip gives +90% range of motion that’s perfect for action adventure and RPGs. The high-rise thumb grip on the other hand gives +120% range of motion, perfect for FPS + TPS games when you’re aiming with a joystick. You could get used to the normal height, but the additional arc will give you more precision controlling over it.
